With my son, no. But with my daughter, holy cow, do we ever!! We’re actually easing up on the food for a week or two right now because she tends to just puke whenever she gets close to swallowing. (Nearly gave my mom a heart attack last night.) But to put it in perspective, she also gags horribly on any fluid that comes out of a bottle, soothers and even sometimes my nipple. So we were expecting a bit of an issue.

My only advice is make sure everything is super soft. So no green-tinged bananas. Make sure they’re nice and spotty. That sort of thing. Good luck!

Do you ever have problems with vomiting? My babies vomit like nobody’s business…so we’ve been pretty careful about what we give them (although I’ll take vomiting over choking any day). The banana-in-peel idea is brilliant! We’ll be trying that soon!

I would put a big towel or plastic tablecloth underneath the feeding chair since I don’t have a dog. That was a lot easier for clean-up for me in the early days of when nothing actually went into his little mouth. Even now, not a lot does either since he likes to fling food when he’s full.

We love our Antilop! Seriously! TWENTY dollars! It’s the perfect height, super easy to wipe down, and TWENTY dollars!
